Come join us this summer for loads of fun at
Adventure Camp. Each day campers can participate in
activities like swimming, rock climbing, gym 'n jam,
listening to story time, yoga, art class, hiking,
ice skating, visiting Carter Park, Kingdom Park and the Riverwalk Center, music class and more.

Adventure Camp's goal is to provide children with the opportunity to explore new activities in a safe,
nurturing, and fun environment. All children will receive positive reinforcement and encouragement.
We want to help build self-esteem and confidence through successful interactions with the world.
We maintain a 1 to 6 ratio in the Adventure Camp.
- Designed for 3 to 7 year-olds.
- Daily Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm.
Ice skating
Join us one day a week as we head to the Stephen C West Ice Arena for a half hour of skating.
This activity will allow kids the opportunity to advance at their own pace.
Rock Climbing
The Breckenridge Recreation Center (BRC) will be hosting our climbing program this summer.
Kinderhut students will be participating on one of the BRC's 30 foot tall indoor climbing walls.
Each climber will be instructed in the safe and correct climbing procedures and will be on belay
from an adult staff member while climbing. All Kinderhut Climbing staff will be certified through
the BRC. Children will be encouraged to progress as their skills and confidence allow.
Swimming
Swimming is offered at the Breckenridge Recreation Center. Under the supervision of the
BRC lifeguards children will have 1 hour to splash, swim, and slide. While this activity does
not offer any formal instruction, each child will be offered individual attention to ensure a
safe and positive experience.
Yoga
Students join certified YOGA instructors as they are guided through various poses (asanas)
designed to improve flexibility, strength and body awareness. Yoga also helps children to
develop greater focus and concentration and posture.
Art Classes
Local artists will lead the group in exploring creativity and the visual arts
through a variety of techniques and activities including collage, painting, tie-dying, clay
modeling, paper making, music and movement, and paper mache.
