Kinderhut has boots, skis and helmets available for rental for all children in the ski school program.
Sunscreen and eye protection, either glasses or goggles, are required and available for purchase at Kinderhut. Kinderhut provides #15 SPF sunscreen, and we reapply throughout the day.
If potty accidents are a possibility (ski clothes are tough to get off fast!) please bring complete change of clothes for your child.
Diapers, wipes, jarred baby food, formula, your child's favorite toy, and any other special items your child may need.
Kinderhut makes every effort to label and keep up with your child's belongings; however, we cannot be responsible for lost or broken items, so please have all items labeled.
Kinderhut recommends that you carry your cell phone "charged" for emergency contact purposes. Kinderhut has a limited number of pagers available as well.
A copy of your childs immunization records.

Remember, this is your child's vacation too. While we encourage all kids to ski, our primary focus is an overall enjoyable experience, and no child will be forced to ski.
Breckenridge is at 9,600 feet above sea level. Children are very suceptible to altitude sickness, so take it easy the first few days of your trip and make sure your child drinks plenty of fluids.
Please make sure that your child has eaten a hearty breakfast.
Please be aware that most children will do better and have less seperation anxieties if they do not see mom and dad watching them. Please watch your child from a distance and do not interrupt the class.
Come early, check out promptly.

Kinderhut opens at 8:15 am
Morning check-in is from 8:15 to 9:00 am
Children in the Mountain Skier Program should arrive no later than 9:00 am
Morning only classes checkout is at 12:00 pm
Afternoon check-in is at 12:30 pm
Reservations are held only until 9:30 am for morning arrivals, and 12:45 pm for afternoon arrivals.
Kinderhut closes promptly at 4:15 pm Please arrive between 3:30-3:45 pm to pick up your child.
Kinderhut will be closed for the morning on Christmas Day. We will open at 12:30 for afternoon check-ins.

For security purposes all children must be checked in and out through our front desk. Photo ID may be required to insure children are leaving with authorized adults.

We loved everything about your program. We visited the week after Christmas and waited in long lines everywhere except at your facility. You are to be commended on you efficiency. We have been to other ski areas where you have to wait in separate lines to rent equipment, purchase lift passes and drop off your children. Your one stop shopping was like a breath of fresh air. Your staff is knowledgeable, courteous and treated us with respect . On our final day we picked up our daughter Catherine to ski with us. Thomas gave us invaluable advice and helped us get fitted with equipment and a harness. She had a blast on the chairlift and is eager to try again as soon as the snow falls. Give our thanks to your entire staff.
